Au seuil de la conservation, Paris (On the Edges of Conservation)

What can be conserved, and how? Conservation-restoration, as a museum-related discipline, has undergone significant changes in recent decades. This field increasingly incorporates environmentally responsible approaches and seeks to represent communities in decision-making processes. While a plurality of practices and perspectives coexist, many challenges remain.

Following an introduction to the themes explored in the two issues edited by Lotte Arndt and Noémie Etienne, the event will unfold in two parts: a conversation among heritage specialists and a session with artists.
