This event presents the volume Ergänzungen und Eingriffe. Zur Geschichte der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien 1930–1960 [Additions and Interventions: On the History of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna 1930–1960] (Mandelbaum Verlag, 2025), edited by Eduard Freudmann, Jakob Krameritsch, Michael Lunardi, and Ruth Sonderegger. The publication examines the history of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna during the period from 1930 to 1960, addressing historiographical perspectives, critical readings, and new evaluations of art institutions under fascism and in the postwar years.

With contributions from Jakob Krameritsch (Academy of Fine Arts Vienna) and Christina Wieder (University of Vienna).
