Talk: Was ist für dich Kunstgeschichte? Was ist für dich Wissenschaft?

What does it mean to do art history today? And what does it mean to understand it as a scholarly discipline? This two-part conversation series brings together members of the Institute of Art History to reflect on their approaches to art history, research, and academic practice.

The second conversation will feature Noémie Étienne and Raphael Rosenberg, who will share their perspectives on the questions What is art history to you? What is scholarship to you? Building on the first discussion with Manuela Studer-Karlen and Wolfram Pichler on 28 October, the conversation offers an opportunity to reflect on the different understandings, experiences, and practices that shape art-historical research.

The series is organised and moderated by Sebastian Egenhofer and invites students and colleagues to join the discussion.
