Conference Recap Now Available: Fleeting Voices

We are pleased to share that a full recap of the conference “Fleeting Voices. Preserving Acoustic Heritage in the Archives and the Arts” is now available online.

Held in Vienna in October 2025, the conference brought together researchers, artists, conservators, and cultural practitioners to discuss the preservation, interpretation, and future of acoustic heritage. The event fostered interdisciplinary conversations on sound, voice, memory, archives, and artistic practice.

The newly published recap provides an overview of the conference programme, key themes, and discussions. It also includes recordings and audios of presentations, offering an opportunity to revisit the event or engage with its contributions for the first time.
